Jintropin AQ [HGH] (Somatotropine)

Jintropin (also rhGH) is a biosynthetic growth hormone of fifth generation manufactured by GeneScience Pharmaceuticals (China). It is made on recombinant technology – the gene of human growth hormone (HGH or somatotropin) is introduced into DNA of Escherichia coli and these bacteria synthesize the hormone identical to natural one.

This peptide consists of 191 amino acids, with molecular weight of 22 125 Da. In our organism it is synthesized by hypophysis in response to proper stimuli (training, sleep, stress, low blood sugar etc).

It’s important to mention that growth hormone does not provide direct effect - it makes the liver release insulin-like growth factors and somatomedins, which in turn produce different effects on the body. The problem is that liver produces only limited amounts of these compounds, therefore the effect of Jintropin is also limited.

The effects of Jintropi

Concerning performance enhancement Jintropin usage produces three different effects:

1. It has powerful anabolic effect. By stimulating protein synthesis it causes enlargement of muscle cells (hypertrophy) and increase of their amount (muscular hyperplasia). The latter phenomenon is very important since none of steroids can produce it. Therefore HGH is considered the most powerful anabolic hormone.
2. Pronounced fat burning effect.
3. It reinforces connective tissue, tendons and cartilages, which leads to increase of strength. There are numerous reports that combined intake of HGH with steroids protects an athlete from injuries when increasing load.

Dosage and Usage

There are no scientific data concerning HGH usage for athletes. Therefore we have only experimental values.

In case of growth retardation manufacturer suggests that a weekly dosage should be 0.3 I.U/ per pound of body weight. This means that a 200-pound athlete should take 60 I.U. weekly. The dosage should be divided into 3 intramuscular injections.

However some athletes do subcutaneous injections (daily). Usually they inject from 4 to 16 I.U./day. As HGH has a short half-life (about 1 hour) it’s better to divide your dosage into 3-4 subcutaneous injections of 2-4 I.U. each. It was experimentally proven that the method of fractional injections is more efficient than a single daily injection.

As we mentioned above the effect of Jintropin is limited by the liver, which produce limited amount of growth factors. Therefore in case of regular small injections the liver has time to “recover” its resources of growth factors.

You should constantly change the spot of injections in order to avoid lopoathrophy.

It’s important to know that Jintropin cycle should last from 6 weeks to several months. If you don’t have enough resources for the cycle (at least 6 weeks) do not begin, otherwise you can waste your money. For better results Jintropin is usually combined with anabolic steroids or anti-catabolics to achieve synergistic effect. The gained muscle mass is maintained after discontinuation of Jintropin usage.
